Dying Dragons
"...I'm dying man, I'm dying
And stop me If you can
Till death I wil be trying
To live. Recall it then..."
I see you lying on a beach
Defeated by a strong desire,
Like dying dragon never reached,
Just like a dragon out of fire
Your eyelids wrinkling in the sun,
Your dry rough mouth so widely open
Your hand is clutching steady gun
But your soul's feeling rather broken...
The dreams just went sometime ago
These dreams of having wealth and power
You search for peace but there's no
You want a friend, you seek for brother
The growing lack makes hope to die
The beach is baldand full of vultures
They track your subject in the sky
Cold horror silently surrounds us
We look quite scared at the sea
Its hugeness-vulgar, isolating
But isn't it that makes us free
Great space - so humanly frustrating
To be a man - it's not a price
To be a man it's something real
I know that isn't very nice
But be my friend, don't be a dealer
Don't fall asleep believe me now
We can survive one by another
I don't know sharply when and how
But don't dismiss me be my brother
See! We are lying on a beach
Defeated by a strong desire,
Like dying dragons never reached,
Just like two dragons out of fire...
